Description
This framework provides liquid fuels and others, such as:
- heating oil
- transport fuel
- low-pressure gas (LPG) in cylinders
- liquified natural gas (LNG)
- wood
- coal
It also includes products and services associated with using solid fuels, such as lubricants, tank replacement and maintenance and fuel testing.
Distribution of liquid fuel is regionally based (see lots 101 to 114).

How to buy
Lots 1 and 2
You will need to carry out a further competition in accordance with Schedule 5 of the National Fuels framework agreement to find the most suitable supplier to meet your needs.
You will have the opportunity to add additional sites or carry out a further competition under the agreement, or opt to join the CCS managed quarterly aggregated further competition.
When running a further competition you will need to follow the steps below. For a more detailed explanation on the process, read Customer Toolkit 1.
- Email CCS nationalfuels@crowncommercial.gov.uk and let us know what your intentions are
- Put together your statement of needs
- Select the good and services you need on the template call-off terms (your selection must not conflict with any provision of the agreement)
- Find suitable suppliers from the list and invite them to tender
- Make sure the tenders applying meet the appropriate criteria (in accordance with Schedule 6 of the agreement and your Invitation to Tender)
- Award a call-off agreement by sending a completed order form and call-off agreement to the successful supplier
- Receive signed copy of the call-off agreement from the supplier
- Sign the call-off agreement and issue a notice to the supplier
- Email CCS nationalfuels@crowncommercial.gov.uk with the outcome
Access for lots 3, 4 and 5
